Who we are
Our Team Wiki page explains who we are, how we work and what we're planning.
The Story Team at Greenpeace International isn’t just promoting good yarns, or supporting our teams in developing the most compelling narratives about their campaigns. We see story as a theory of change; we are provocateurs, challenging who we are as an organisation, how we perceive ourselves, and how we want others to perceive us. This page is a portal into the work we do to spark courageous acts at Greenpeace.
One of our mantras and goals is 'Courage, not perfectionism'. The Story Team is undertaking an experiment here where we publish more early and more often, in the name of greater openness, so some material you'll encounter may be unfinished and unpolished at the moment. This is where you come in: talk to us, tell us what struck you, what rabbit holes you were led to, what's missing, how to move it to wowza. Help us see the possibilities you see.

Whether staff, alumni or volunteer, our audience is people who are already passionate about making the world a more green and peaceful place. This document is the high-level view on how we engage with our audience.
As part of our commitment to becoming a more open organization, we run biweekly community calls. A community call is a recurring call which is open to anyone who wants to join. You might think of them as office hours for particular themes or design sessions for programs. Next call date/time and dial in instructions are here.
A Greenpeace alive with courage and the 7 Shifts starts with each of us. That means we need to expand what we mean by courage, and bravely bring "heart" to all we do. Courage is a heart word.
All you need to run a story-based workshop, or to design creative exercises tailored to your meeting (continually updated). We encourage you to steal with pride and contact us if have favorites you’d like to share.
This document details a specific part of our strategy to gather our people to learn, share and collaborate. The online learning component of Courage Camp will be the first programmatic release.
The best way to serve people and planet over the course of our lives is to strive to be whole, the best versions of ourselves. If we know how to bring out the best in ourselves, we can bring out the best in each other, and maybe the best in humanity.
